RE Gold: Gold is defying the "Law of Helium." Instead of going up in value by leaps and bounds, it remains bumping around in the $800.00 realm. With the economy as it is, and growing worse, and now there being a shortage of gold bullion, the price should be going up drastically. We cannot be far from the time WHEN IT WILL!

(ADDED NOTE: Gold has finally hit the $1100.00 an oz level as of 11-9-09. It may bounce around for a while, but it is headed up. India and China are buying vast amounts, and this will eventually drive the price up.)

ANOTHER ADDED NOTE:

Gold has topped $1200, and now at this date (12-24-09), has dropped over a hundred dollars per ounce. Why such fluctuations? There are "Big Money" people who are buying and selling in huge amounts. They sell at a high price, which then affects the market in a downward motion. When they decide the market has dropped as far as it will from their selling, they then buy back again, which then sends the gold market back up.. Such causes them to profit in the millions of dollars. So, when the price of gold drops, it will rebound when the "Big Money" buys it back.

There is only one way gold can go, and that is UP!!! By up, I mean by a large gain over the next year or so, and beyond.

Why do I say this? Many reason, but I give you just two.

1. Inflation caused by the printing of fiat money. All money held in savings accounts is losing value with every passing day.

2. Other countries, such as China, are switching from dollars to gold, and in HUGE AMOUNTS.

The more gold is purchased, the higher the price goes, and it is being purchased in continually large amounts.

(As of 2-24-10, gold will probably top the $1200 point in the next few months, and may go much higher during the next year.)

(October 2010: As predicted, gold is now pushing at the $1400 point. People that bought at the $900 price per ounce, have made a lot of money. There could be a big drop down, as the "big boys" take their profits, but they will buy back when the price drops, and then gold will rise even more. The economy is in dreadful trouble, and the only safe haven for money at this time IS IN GOLD!!! That could change in the future with new laws concerning the buying and selling of gold, but it certainly is so today.
